In my earlier post, I had written about Tata’s new sedan concept, Elegante at the Geneva Motor Show. Here are more pictures of cars, slotted to be launched in India, that were showcased at the show.

Suzuki SX4

This is the basic car, based on which Suzuki is going to launch the new version of their Baleno. As I read on an Autocar issue, Maruti Suzuki dealers have stopped taking new orders for this car, and want to clear out the existing stock, and eventually replace it it with this new one.

Skoda Fabia.

The Fabia – Skoda answer to Swift and the Getz, was long in the planning by Skoda, and shall be eventually out soon. The March Autocar issue has a test drive report of this car. The car shall be launched in both petrol diesel, the cubic capacities are 1200cc for the petrol and 1400cc for the diesel.
The car with an expected output of 69bhp is likely to be priced in the 5-6.5 lakh bracket.
In terms of looks this car does resemble the Swift a lot, especially the mirror area. The car comes in the Government regulations of a small car, and shall qualify for excise norms.
