With a total of 21 medals (4G, 8S, 9B), India moved one place ahead to rank 6th in the 15th Asian Games in Doha. The two more gold medals (read our previous story here) came from
yes Kabaddi and shooting, with Jaspal Rana winning the 25m standard pistol round, while in the team category for the same event, Jaspal Rana, Ronak Pundit and Samaresh Jung got the silver medal. Another Silver came from the four man team of Satish Joshi, Jenil Krishnan, Dharmesh Sangwan and Sukhjeet Singh in rowing.
A gold is still expected from the womens doubles and singles in tennis as Sania Mirza and Shikha Uberoi continue their winning streak. Mixed doubles and Mens doubles events are also expected to fetch a few more medals. Golf could also be a prospective medal getter for India as Gaganjeet Bhullar, Joseph Chakola, Chiragh Kumar and anirban Lahiri play tomorrow. Womens Hockey team today crushed Hong Kong 7-0 in the preliminary pool match, though chances of a mdeal cannot be predicted as of now.
